Reconnaissance Attack Squadron 6 (VA-6), also known as the "Yankees," was a U.S. Navy squadron established in 1955. It initially flew the AD Skyraider and later the A-6 Intruder. The squadron was known for its reconnaissance and attack capabilities, participating in various operations and conflicts before it was disestablished in 1993.
