The 25th Infantry Division, nicknamed "Tropic Lightning", is a U.S. Army division with a rich history, particularly in the Pacific theater and the Korean War. It was activated in Hawaii in 1941 and has seen extensive combat in World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. The division is currently based at Schofield Barracks in Hawaii and is responsible for operations primarily in the Indo-Pacific region.
