Die-Cut Magnets - DUI - 7th Infantry Division X 300

The United States Army's Military Police (MP) Corps was formally established in 1941 after a long history of police-like functions dating back to the Revolutionary War. Key milestones include the creation of the Marechaussee Corps by George Washington in 1778, the formation of the Philippine Constabulary in 1902, and the establishment of a Military Police Training Department in France during World War I. The Corps functions similar to a civilian police force, enforcing military laws, preventing crime, investigating incidents, and managing prisoners of war in combat.
