"41st Infantry - Hell on 8 Wheels" refers to the 1st Battalion, 41st Infantry Regiment, an infantry unit that was part of the 2nd Armored Division, nicknamed "Hell on Wheels". The 41st Infantry Regiment provided the organic infantry for the 2nd Armored Division during World War II and into Operation Desert Storm, earning the "Hell on Wheels" designation from the division commander General George Patton.
