Air Assault. Air Mobile. Always First.
The 1st Cavalry Division wrote the book on airmobile warfare in Vietnam — and the troopers of the 2nd Battalion, 12th Cavalry Regiment were in the thick of it. From the Ia Drang Valley to the jungles of III Corps, these cavalrymen fought with the ferocity and discipline that earned them the Combat Infantryman Badge — one of the most respected decorations in the U.S. Army.
This tee honors their service, their sacrifice, and the brotherhood forged under fire.

Unit Heritage:
The 2nd Battalion, 12th Cavalry Regiment served as part of the legendary 1st Cavalry Division (Airmobile) during the Vietnam War — the first full division-sized airmobile unit in U.S. Army history. Deploying to Vietnam in 1965, the 1st Cav pioneered helicopter assault tactics that would define modern warfare. The Combat Infantryman Badge (CIB) worn by its veterans stands as a permanent testament to their courage under fire.
