Unit History
Logistics Support Activity (LSA) Anaconda — also known as Camp Anaconda, FOB Anaconda, and later Contingency Operating Base (COB) Anaconda — was a massive installation near Balad Air Base in Iraq. Covering 15 square miles, it served as a critical hub for logistics, support, and operations throughout the conflict. Nearby FOB O'Ryan (formerly FOB Lion), located approximately 5 miles away, provided additional services including reliable internet and phone access for troops.
