Army — Kagnew Station — East Africa Hoodie
A station few remember. A legacy that deserves to be worn.
Kagnew Station — nestled in Asmara, East Africa — was one of the most strategically vital and least-known U.S. Army installations of the Cold War era. Those who served there were part of something rare: a mission conducted far from home, in a land few Americans had ever heard of, doing work that mattered at the highest levels of national security.
This hoodie is a tribute to every soldier, veteran, and family member connected to Kagnew Station. Wear it with the quiet pride of those who served there.

Unit Heritage
Kagnew Station operated from 1943 to 1977 in Asmara, Ethiopia (now Eritrea). It served as a critical U.S. Army signals intelligence and communications relay hub during World War II, the Korean War, and the Cold War. The name "Kagnew" derives from an Ethiopian word meaning "to bring order out of chaos" — a fitting motto for those who served there.
This is more than a hoodie. It’s a piece of Cold War history.
