Unit History
Constituted 8 July 1944 in the Army of the United States as the 822d Military Police Company. Activated 15 November 1944 in Holland. Inactivated 20 January 1947 in Germany. Allotted 11 April 1947 to the Organized Reserves. Activated 28 April 1947 at Chicago, Illinois. Inactivated 4 December 1950. Reactivated 22 February 1972 at Chicago, Illinois. Location changed to Arlington Heights, Illinois in 1999.
