Rooted in the rugged terrain of the Leon Springs Military Reservation, Camp Stanley has stood as a cornerstone of U.S. Army readiness for over a century. Twenty miles northwest of San Antonio, this storied installation has armed and equipped warfighters across every major conflict — from the trenches of World War I to today's global operations.

Unit History
Camp Stanley Storage Activity (CSSA) is a U.S. Army facility located at the Leon Springs Military Reservation, twenty miles northwest of downtown San Antonio near Fair Oaks Ranch, Texas. Its mission: to receive, test, store, ship, renovate, and demilitarize conventional arms, ammunition, and explosives in support of the Warfighter worldwide — a mission carried forward since the days of the Great War.
