The 756th Tank Battalion (later redesignated the 73rd Tank Battalion) served as an independent armored force during WWII, spearheading operations alongside infantry divisions across Europe. Redesignated as the 73rd Armor Regiment and perpetuated today through the 73rd Cavalry Regiment, its lineage is one of endurance, precision, and sacrifice.
