Unit History
The 17th Cavalry Regiment was constituted on 1 July 1916 in the Regular Army at Fort Bliss, Texas — born from the crucible of the Pancho Villa Expedition. Reorganized under the U.S. Army Regimental System, the regiment's legacy lives on today through combat aviation brigades, where its attack/recon helicopter squadrons carry the colors of the 17th Cav forward. The 5th Squadron served with distinction at Camp Stanley, Korea — a posting that defined a generation of cavalrymen.
This hoodie is more than apparel. It's a tribute.
