Army 5th Armored Group — Crewneck Sweatshirt
Pay tribute to one of World War II's most remarkable armored formations. The 5th Armored Group was the only all-Black segregated armored group formed during the war — and while the group itself did not deploy, every one of its assigned tank battalions answered the call and fought with distinction across the European Theater of Operations. This is their legacy, worn with honor.

Unit History
The 5th Armored Group was an all-Black segregated armored formation that served during World War II — the only segregated armored group formed during the conflict and one of only two armored groups that did not deploy as a unit. Yet its assigned tank battalions all saw combat in the European Theater of Operations, representing the courage and resilience of Black soldiers who served their country with distinction despite the barriers of segregation.
