The 59th Ordnance Brigade is one of the Army's most essential support formations — charged with the storage, delivery, maintenance, and control of conventional and special ammunition, including Nuclear and Chemical Munitions, for U.S. Forces and allied NATO nations. With over 6,500 soldiers at its peak, the brigade operated with a level of precision and discipline that the mission demanded — and that the Army depended on.
Today, the 59th carries that standard forward as the U.S. Army Ordnance School's training brigade, developing the next generation of Ordnance soldiers.
