Established in the crucible of World War II as a parachute infantry regiment of the legendary 101st Airborne Division, The Deuce fought through some of the most decisive engagements in American military history: D-Day, Operation Market Garden, the Battle of the Bulge at Bastogne.
Reactivated in 1956, the regiment has continued to serve with distinction across Vietnam, the Persian Gulf, Iraq, and Afghanistan — one of the most continuously deployed infantry regiments in the U.S. Army.
