The 4th Infantry Division — the legendary Ivy Division — answered the call on 25 September 1966, shipping out from Fort Lewis to the jungles of Pleiku, Vietnam. For over four years, its soldiers fought through the Central Highlands, War Zone C, and the dense terrain of Tay Ninh — from Operation Attleboro to Operation Junction City — before returning home on 8 December 1970.
