The Sheridan. Airborne Armor. Always Ready to Drop.

The M551 Sheridan AR/AAV (Armored Reconnaissance/Airborne Assault Vehicle) was one of the most unique and technically ambitious light tanks ever fielded by the United States Army. Named after Civil War General Philip Sheridan, it was designed to do what no other tank could — be airdropped by parachute, swim across rivers, and engage enemy armor with the advanced 152mm gun/launcher system capable of firing both conventional rounds and the MGM-51 Shillelagh guided anti-tank missile.

This 15oz White Ceramic Mug captures the Sheridan in action — firing, with paratroopers in the frame — a bold tribute to the airborne armor crews who took the Sheridan into combat in Vietnam and beyond.
