Collection: Laos Civil War (covert)

Laos Civil War (Covert) (1959–1975)

While the Vietnam War dominated headlines, a parallel and largely secret conflict raged across the mountains and jungles of Laos — one of the most classified military operations in American history.

The Secret War

Under the Geneva Accords of 1962, the U.S. was prohibited from deploying conventional forces to Laos. Instead, the CIA and U.S. Special Forces trained and led the Hmong guerrilla army under General Vang Pao, conducting covert air operations and ground missions to interdict the Ho Chi Minh Trail and counter North Vietnamese expansion.

Air America & the Ravens

CIA-operated Air America flew supply and combat support missions throughout the country. Forward Air Controllers — known as the Ravens — directed airstrikes from small aircraft, often under fire, in some of the most dangerous flying conditions of the war.

The Soldiers & Operators

Green Berets, CIA case officers, Air Force Ravens, and their Hmong allies fought a war that the U.S. government officially denied for years. Their sacrifice and service remained classified long after the conflict ended.

Wear the History

MIP Brand's Laos Civil War collection honors the operators, aviators, and indigenous fighters who waged America's secret war. Each piece is crafted with premium materials and authentic unit insignia, built for those who carry history forward.
