The Last Cavalry Charge. The First to Fight.

On the morning of 16 January 1942, the 26th Cavalry Regiment (Philippine Scouts) made history — executing the last cavalry charge in the history of the United States Army at the Battle of Morong. Part of U.S. Army Forces Far East’s Philippine Department, the 26th CAV (PS) stood against the Japanese advance with courage, discipline, and the warrior spirit of the Philippine Scouts.

Of the 301 members of this regiment interred at the Manila American Cemetery and Memorial, each name represents a soldier who gave everything in defense of the Philippines and the United States. Their sacrifice is etched in history.

This 15oz White Ceramic Mug bears the Coat of Arms of the 26th Cavalry Regiment — Our Strength — a daily tribute to the Scouts who rode into history.
