A Regiment Forged in History
Tracing its lineage to the 1st Indiana Field Artillery of the Spanish-American War, the 150th FA was federalized for World War I and assigned to the legendary 42nd Infantry “Rainbow” Division. Under Colonel Robert Tyndall, the regiment wielded French 155mm cannons across some of the war’s most decisive engagements. That heritage of fire, precision, and duty lives on in every soldier who wears the patch today.
