The 54th Artillery Group was a U.S. Army unit in Vietnam that provided artillery support, initially for the II Field Force Vietnam and located at Xuan Loc before moving to Ben Hoa in 1968. It was equipped with various howitzers and played a key role in repelling attacks, including a notable one in May 1969 where it defended its base against a Viet Cong attack. Veterans of this group are recognized as Vietnam combat veterans for their service in this unit.
