The 82nd Airborne Division has a rich history, including its participation in World War I, World War II, and the Normandy invasion. It is known for its unique makeup, which included conscripted soldiers from all 48 states, and its strategic deployment in various military operations. The division's shoulder patch proudly bears the letters "AA," symbolizing its origins and the unity of its members
