Die-Cut Magnets -WAC - NDSM - COLD WAR Service Bar X 300
The 15th Cavalry Group refers to a World War II-era unit within the 15th Cavalry Regiment, known for its involvement in the Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland, and Central Europe campaigns. The lineage traces back to the 15th Cavalry Regiment, organized in 1901, which participated in the Philippine Insurrection, Cuban Pacification, and border duty before World War I, where it fought in France and served in the trenches before being deactivated in 1921. After the war, the regiment served in the Constabulary era in Germany, patrolled the Cold War border, and was reactivated in 1987 for training cavalry scouts.
