The 360th Bombardment Squadron flew with the 303rd Bombardment Group — one of the most storied heavy bombardment groups of World War II. Last assigned to the 303d Bombardment Wing at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona, the squadron served with distinction before inactivation on June 15, 1964. Their missions over occupied Europe helped turn the tide of the war.
