Honor the River Warriors of the 9th Infantry Division
They fought where maps ran out — on the rivers, canals, and flooded deltas of Vietnam. The soldiers of the 9th Infantry Division's Mobile Riverine Force didn't just serve; they pioneered a new kind of warfare, combining Army grit with Navy firepower deep in the Mekong Delta.
This tee carries their story. The chest graphic features the iconic 9th Infantry Division insignia, the Mobile Riverine Force designation, a riverine assault craft, and a full row of Vietnam Service ribbons — a visual record of sacrifice worn with pride.

Unit History
In the Vietnam War, the Mobile Riverine Force (MRF) — initially designated the Mekong Delta Mobile Afloat Force — was a joint US Army and US Navy force that formed a critical part of the brown-water navy. Modeled after French Dinassaut doctrine from the First Indochina War, the MRF conducted both combat operations and troop transport across the treacherous waterways of the Mekong Delta.
