Unit History
The 4th Infantry Division — home of the 8th Battalion, 4th Artillery — is one of the U.S. Army's most storied divisions, headquartered at Fort Carson, Colorado. During Vietnam, I Field Force coordinated combat operations across II Corps Tactical Zone, with the 8th Bn providing essential fire support through some of the war's most intense engagements.
