The 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne) is one of the most storied units in the U.S. Army's Special Operations community. Activated in 1952 at Fort Bragg, 10th Group was the first Special Forces unit ever formed — built to operate deep behind enemy lines in Europe during the Cold War. Today, 10th SFG (A) continues to execute the full spectrum of Special Forces missions: unconventional warfare, foreign internal defense, direct action, counterterrorism, special reconnaissance, and more.
