Regiment Heritage
The 83rd Field Artillery Regiment traces its lineage to 1966, when the 1st Battalion was formed at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Deployed to Vietnam in October 1966, the unit served with distinction across Bear Cat, Nui Dat, Xuân Lộc, and beyond — remaining in theater until 1971. This shirt honors every soldier who served under that crest.
