CH-34 Choctaw | Close-Support Transport | United States Army
In 1955, the U.S. Army selected the Sikorsky CH-34 Choctaw as its medium-lift workhorse — a helicopter that would carry troops, haul cargo, and hold the line across some of the most demanding terrain in Cold War-era operations. Between 1955 and 1959, 426 Choctaws were delivered to the Army alone, with additional airframes going to the Air Force and Navy. This is the machine that defined a generation of Army aviation.
Now that legacy lives on the chest of a hoodie built to last just as long.
