Alpha Battery, 1st Battalion, 83rd Field Artillery Regiment
Some units don't just serve — they become legend. Alpha Battery, 1/83rd Field Artillery, answered the call at Fort Sill in 1966 and carried the thunder of American artillery through the jungles and highlands of Vietnam until 1971. From Bear Cat and Nui Dat to Xuan Loc, Phu Bai, and the corridor between Da Nang and Hue, these Redlegs stood their ground and delivered fire when it mattered most.
This long sleeve tee is built for those who carry that history — veterans, family members, and those who simply refuse to let the sacrifice be forgotten.

Unit Heritage
The 1st Battalion, 83rd Field Artillery Regiment was activated in 1966 at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Deploying to Vietnam in October 1966, the battalion served in-country until 1971 — operating across multiple combat zones including Bear Cat, Nui Dat, Xuan Loc, and later Phu Bai in the northern I Corps region. Their service represents the backbone of American fire support during one of the most demanding campaigns of the Vietnam era.
