HISTORY
- The 5th Battalion, 4th Field Artillery Regiment was a U.S. Army unit, most notably serving during the Vietnam War as the organic artillery for the 1st Brigade, 5th Mechanized Infantry Division. The battalion is currently inactive, but the 4th Field Artillery Regiment and the 5th Field Artillery Regiment both have active battalions with separate lineages and honors.
