What It Means to Earn Jump Wings
The Parachutist Badge — Jump Wings — is awarded only after completing the U.S. Army Airborne School: Ground Week, Tower Week, and five qualifying parachute jumps. It's not given. It's earned in the air.
Special Forces Airborne Operations
Green Berets are all airborne-qualified, deploying by parachute into some of the world's most denied and dangerous environments:
- Static Line Jumps — Standard airborne insertions from low-altitude aircraft
- HALO Operations — High Altitude, Low Opening freefall infiltrations
- HAHO Operations — High Altitude, High Opening long-range glide insertions
- Combat Equipment Jumps — Full combat load, full commitment
- Night Operations — Airborne insertions under cover of darkness
The Special Forces DUI
Each SF Group carries its own Distinctive Unit Insignia, but all share the crossed arrows and the motto that defines the mission: De Oppresso Liber — To Free the Oppressed. From the 1st to the 10th Group, the legacy is the same.
Made For
- Active, retired, and veteran Special Forces soldiers
- Airborne-qualified Green Berets and HALO/HAHO operators
- Parachutist badge holders and SF Group members
- Military families and supporters of America's airborne special operators
- SF reunions, airborne events, and everyday wear
Why This Shirt Matters
This isn't just a t-shirt. It's a tribute to the warriors who combine parachute insertion with elite unconventional warfare — soldiers who jump into danger to accomplish the mission. If you've earned the wings and the tab, this shirt is yours. If you support those who have, wear it with pride.
Airborne. Special Forces. De Oppresso Liber.
