From 1975 to 1981, the 6th Battalion, 33rd Field Artillery Regiment at Fort Sill, Oklahoma operated the MGM-52 Lance — a tactical ballistic missile system capable of delivering nuclear and conventional warheads deep into enemy territory. Cold War deterrence, worn every day.
