P Company (Airborne), 75th Infantry (Ranger), also known as Papa Company, was activated on 1 February 1969 to conduct reconnaissance, surveillance, and target acquisition for the 1st Brigade, 5th Infantry Division in Vietnam and was composed entirely of volunteers, mostly Airborne qualified.
