Army - 1st Bn 67th Armor - Armor Branch
The 1st Battalion, 67th Armor Regiment, the "Death Dealers," was originally constituted on 24 March 1923 in the Regular Army as Company A, 19th Tank Battalion. It was redesignated on 1 September 1929 as Company A, 2nd Tank Regiment. It was converted and redesignated on 25 October 1932 as Company A, 67th Infantry (Medium Tanks). The unit was activated on 5 June 1940 at Fort Benning, Georgia.
