WASP – Women Airforce Service Pilot – World War II
When the United States needed pilots to ferry aircraft, tow aerial targets, and train bombardiers during World War II, the Women Airforce Service Pilots answered. Over 1,000 WASP flew more than 60 million miles, logging time in every type of military aircraft — from trainers to B-29 Superfortresses. They were trailblazers who proved that women could fly anything the Army Air Forces could put in front of them.
This 3D Enhanced T-Shirt honors the WASP — the women who took to the skies at a time when the skies were never meant to be theirs.
