The 502nd Infantry Regiment, nicknamed "The Deuce" or "Five-Oh-Deuce", is an infantry regiment of the U.S. Army with a rich history dating back to World War II. Originally established as a parachute infantry regiment and assigned to the 101st Airborne Division, it played a significant role in key battles like Normandy, Market Garden, and the Battle of the Bulge. The regiment has since seen action in Vietnam, the Persian Gulf War, Iraq War, and War in Afghanistan, among others.
