About the Eighth Army
The Eighth Army is the U.S. Army's only active field army and the command authority for all U.S. Army forces in South Korea. Headquartered for decades at Yongsan Garrison, Seoul before relocating to Camp Humphreys, Pyeongtaek in 2017, the Eighth Army has maintained the U.S.-ROK alliance and deterred aggression on the Korean Peninsula since the Korean War. Responsible to United States Forces Korea (USFK) and U.S. Army Pacific, the Eighth Army remains one of the most strategically vital commands in the U.S. military.
Yongsan is history. The mission endures. This mug honors both.
An ideal gift for Eighth Army veterans, Korea service veterans, USFK soldiers, Camp Humphreys and Yongsan alumni, and Korean Peninsula service veterans.
