About the 864th Engineer Battalion

The 864th Engineer Battalion is a combat engineer battalion of the United States Army, currently based at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington, as a subordinate unit of the 555th Engineer Brigade. With a lineage that includes Vietnam-era service, the 864th has a proud history of providing combat engineering support across a range of missions — from mobility and countermobility operations to survivability and general engineering tasks. Vietnam veterans of the 864th served in one of the most demanding combat engineering environments in U.S. military history.

They built the roads. They cleared the mines. They made the mission move.

An ideal gift for 864th Engineer Battalion veterans, Vietnam combat engineer veterans, JBLM soldiers, and Army engineer enthusiasts.
