USS Helena (SSN-725) — Los Angeles-Class Submarine
She ran silent beneath the world's oceans, a steel guardian of American sea power. The USS Helena (SSN-725) is the fourth U.S. Navy vessel to carry the name of Helena, Montana — a Los Angeles-class fast-attack submarine built by the legendary Electric Boat Division of General Dynamics in Groton, Connecticut. Her keel was laid on 28 March 1985, and she went on to serve as one of the most capable submarines in the fleet.
