The 10th Cavalry Regiment earned its name in the field — and this plate carries that legacy wherever you go. The Design

The History
Established in 1866 as one of the original Buffalo Soldier regiments, the 10th Cavalry Regiment served with distinction across the Indian Wars, the Spanish-American War, and both World Wars. The name "Buffalo Soldiers" — given by the Plains tribes they faced — became a mark of respect that the regiment carried with pride. Ready and Forward remains the regiment's motto to this day, a declaration of the discipline and resolve that defined these soldiers across more than a century of service.
