Die-Cut Magnets - DUI - 6th Infantry Division X 300

The 6th Infantry Division was organized in November 1917 during World War I, consisting of several infantry regiments and artillery units. After training in the United States, the division was deployed to France in July 1918. It participated in the Vosges sector, engaging in active patrolling and defensive operations against German forces. The division was noted for its extensive hiking and maneuvering, earning the nickname “The Sightseeing Sixth” due to its long marches across challenging terrain. The division played a role in the Meuse-Argonne Offensive and was commended for its contributions, with many soldiers receiving honors such as the Distinguished Service Cross and Croix de Guerre.
