The term "51st Infantry Division" can refer to several military units, most prominently the historical 51st (Highland) Division of the British Army, the World War II-era 51st Division (Philippines) of the Philippine Army, or a currently active unit, the 51st Infantry (Fuerte Uno) Battalion of the Philippine Army. The 51st (Highland) Division fought in World War I and World War II, while the Philippine division was active from 1941 to 1942 and surrendered at the fall of Bataan. The current Philippine battalion is part of the 1st Infantry Division and focuses on community stability and development.
