The 45th Artillery Brigade is a unit of the Oklahoma Army National Guard with a lineage tracing back to the 45th Infantry Division, disbanded in 1968 to form the 45th Fires Brigade which became the 45th Field Artillery Brigade in 2008. Their distinctive unit insignia (DUI), which features "Pride, Valor, Excellence," was first approved in 1972. The unit specializes in long-range artillery and coordinating joint fires, playing a key role for the modern battlefield, as seen in their recent deployment and training exercises.
