The 102nd Cavalry Regiment is a historical and current New Jersey Army National Guard unit with roots in the 1st Troop New Jersey Cavalry, established in 1913. The regiment saw extensive service in World War II, participating in the Normandy invasion and the Battle of the Bulge. The 102nd Cavalry Regiment continues to serve today as part of the 44th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, conducting training and deployments for the New Jersey Army National Guard.
