Unit Legacy
Tracing its lineage to 1 October 1941 at Schofield Barracks, the unit was forged in fire on 7 December 1941 when Japanese aircraft strafed the barracks at Pearl Harbor. Through World War II, Korea, and Vietnam, the 25th MP Company served across three wars — earning Meritorious Unit Commendations, Republic of Korea Presidential Unit Citations, and a Philippine Presidential Unit Citation. In Vietnam, they operated out of Cu Chi, maintaining order and security for the Tropic Lightning Division through some of the war's most demanding campaigns.
