The 21st Signal Group stood at the crossroads of history — providing critical area communications across 10,000 square miles of I and II Corps tactical zones during the Vietnam War. The 43rd Signal Battalion served as part of that mission, keeping the lines open when it mattered most. This apparel honors that service, that sacrifice, and that signal.

Unit Heritage:
Constituted 22 June 1965 at Fort Bragg, NC — the 21st Signal Group deployed to Nha Trang, South Vietnam, supporting operations across thirteen campaigns. Awarded the Meritorious Unit Commendation. Reactivated 16 October 2003 as the 21st Signal Brigade, headquartered at Fort Detrick, MD.
