LSA Anaconda (also known as Camp Anaconda, FOB Anaconda, and later Contingency Operating Base Anaconda) was a massive U.S. installation located near Balad, Iraq. Serving as a critical logistics hub throughout Operation Iraqi Freedom, it supported tens of thousands of troops across the theater. Nearby FOB O'Ryan (formerly FOB Lion), located approximately 5 miles away, provided additional support services to personnel in the area.
