Camp Stanley, Leon Springs, Texas — a name etched into the legacy of the United States Army at War. Established at the Leon Springs Military Reservation twenty miles northwest of San Antonio, Camp Stanley served as a critical installation during World War I and continues its mission today as the Camp Stanley Storage Activity (CSSA) — receiving, testing, storing, and demilitarizing conventional arms and ammunition in support of warfighters worldwide.
