The 725th Support Battalion, also known as the "Centurions," has a history dating back to August 26, 1941, when it was constituted as the 725th Ordnance Light Maintenance Company in Hawaii. It has supported the 25th Infantry Division through major conflicts, including WWII in Guadalcanal and Luzon, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and more recently, both Iraq and Afghanistan. The battalion was redesignated as the 725th Support Battalion in 1992 and later became the 725th Brigade Support Battalion (Airborne) in 2006, serving with the 4th Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division at Fort Richardson, Alaska.
