HISTORY
- The 6th Battalion, 32nd Field Artillery was a U.S. Army unit that served in Vietnam, providing artillery support using 8-inch and 175mm self-propelled guns. It was activated in 1962 and earned a Meritorious Unit Citation during its time in Vietnam, supporting numerous operations. The battalion supported infantry and armor, provided fire missions from various locations, and was eventually deactivated in 1971 after returning from Vietnam.
